Welcome to our Intramural Soccer Program! We’re thrilled to have your child join us for what promises to be an exciting and fun-filled season. Below, you’ll find all the essential information you need to ensure your child is ready for the field.
Age Groups
Our program is organized into different age groups to ensure that each child is playing with others at a similar level:
D4 (2017 Birth Year)
D3 (2018 Birth Year)
D2 (2019 Birth Year)
D1 (2020 and Younger)
Important Notes:
D3 and D4 will be combined, so players in these age groups will play together.
D1 and D2 teams will be coed, while D3/4 teams will be split into boys and girls teams.
Game Schedule
To keep things organized, each age group has its own designated game time:
D1: Saturday Mornings at 9:00 AM
D2: Saturday Mornings at 10:00 AM
D3/4: Games will take place on Saturdays at either 11:15 AM, 12:15 PM, or 1:15 PM
Practice Schedule
Practices are an essential part of our program, allowing players to develop their skills and build teamwork. Here’s the practice schedule:
D1 and D2: Practice sessions will be held on Saturday mornings for the first half-hour of their scheduled game time. This integrated approach helps make the most of their time on the field.
D3/4: Practice sessions will be held on Monday nights from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM. This dedicated practice time allows for focused skill development.
Week 1: Opening Ceremony
We’ll kick off the season on Saturday, September 14th with an exciting "Opening Ceremony" where all players will meet their teams and receive their jerseys. This is a great opportunity for kids to get to know their teammates, and for parents to connect with coaches. We can’t wait to see everyone come together to start the season on a high note!
Equipment Checklist
To ensure your child is ready for every practice and game, here’s a checklist of what they’ll need:
Jersey: Every player will receive their jersey at the Opening Ceremony.
Shin Guards: Mandatory for all practices and games. Safety first!
Cleats: Strongly recommended for better traction and safety on the field.
Soccer Ball: Please ensure your child brings their own ball to every practice and game.
Coaches Meeting
Coaches Meeting will be held at the Hauppauge Library on Thursday, September 12th at 7:30pm.
