The Hauppauge Bulldogs soccer team began their season in commanding fashion with a 4-0 triumph over the Northport Cow Harbor Hotspurs. A tightly contested first half ended in a scoreless draw, thanks in large part to the tenacious defense of center back Alex Massa, who proved to be an impenetrable force, ensuring the Hotspurs had no clear path to goal.
Emerging from halftime with renewed energy and determination, the Bulldogs wasted no time asserting their dominance.
