Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL)
Hauppauge Soccer League proudly participates in the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), one of the largest and most respected youth soccer leagues in the country.
Founded in 1966, LIJSL is a non-profit, educational organization that has grown to include over 100 member clubs and more than 50,000 registered players across Long Island. The league provides competitive and developmental opportunities for players under the age of 19, with a focus on character, teamwork, discipline, and personal growth through the game of soccer.
By competing in LIJSL, Hauppauge players gain valuable experience against a wide range of opponents while learning life skills that extend beyond the field. We are proud to be part of a league that has helped shape generations of athletes through its mission of Building Character Through Soccer.
EDP
Elite Development Program (EDP) League
Hauppauge Soccer League teams also compete in the Elite Development Program (EDP), a nationally recognized league that offers high-level competition for ambitious players and teams seeking to elevate their game.
EDP was founded with the mission of supporting soccer development through quality competition and a player-first approach. With leagues spanning the East Coast and beyond, EDP provides a platform for clubs to challenge their players against top talent, preparing them for future opportunities in high school, college, and beyond.
By participating in EDP, Hauppauge players experience a higher level of competition and development, while still representing their hometown club. EDP complements our club’s commitment to creating a complete player pathway, with a focus on growth, performance, and love for the game.
